3 Pocket Notecard Holder

My Loonies for Littles project this week is a three pocket note card holder. I love the idea of this and I think it would make a great end-of-the-year teachers gift! I began with a 6"x12" piece of one of the designer series sheets from the Loonies for Littles package and then scored it at 4-1/2" and 9". I then cut two 2"x6"pieces and one 1"x6" piece in the coordinating dsp. I adhered sticky strip along the bottom and both sides of each piece. The smaller piece is for stamps and gets stuck to the smaller end (along the fold). One of the larger pieces, gets adhered along the centre fold (used for the cards) and the last larger piece gets adhered to the bottom end (for the envelopes). The belly band is 1"x11" and I adhered one of the ribbon strips down the centre and then attached an accent piece. Here is a view of the holder closed.Inside I decorated three 5"x3-1/2" note cards, using the same color scheme, the stamp set that comes in the Loonies for Littles kit and a variety of punches. These are the cards and the coordinating envelopes that go inside.
I can't take credit for this idea. I was directed to a blog that had this idea showcased and one of my clients asked me to try to figure out the dimensions for her. For the life of me, I cannot remember the name of the website (and have since deleted the email) so if you are reading this Melissa, can you please add a comment with a link to that website for anyone who may want to check it out. Thank you!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope that you all get a chance to try this out. I really enjoyed creating this project!
Until next time,
Sherry

Hi Sherry, thanks for your work...I think what threw me off is the picture angle of the thing...anyway above is the post that has the link to the designer. Hope you enjoy her site as she has lots of great ideas and shares.
