August Stamp Club Projects

I just realized that I hadn't posted the photos for the August Stamp club meeting. I try to post the photos for the people who are cyber members (ie email me their orders) or those who just can't attend that meeting. I will prestamp all their projects and then they check here for the finished projects to see how to assemble. Another advantage to being a club member - even if you can't attend!

The first one is a little box/basket made with a 9x9 piece of cardstock and then scored at 3" all the way around. Sides folded in and then the handle is stapled on to keep it all together. It goes together really quickly and with the greeting on the front it is the perfect little treat for someone special.

The thank you card was done using the Upsy Daisy set which is still on sale for 15% off, until the end of September. The color was added to the stamp using sponge daubers and 3 of our new in colors - Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango and Pink Pirouette.

The last card was done using a technique with vellum. I don't know what it's called but you basically just take the ink pad and smear it across the vellum and then stamp with a clean stamp (ie. no ink) while it's still wet.

Tomorrow, I will post the projects from my September club. Until next time,

Sherry
