Having fun with some new product...

I've been having fun playing around with some of my new stamps and accessories from the Spring-Summer Collection. There are so many things on my wish list from this catalogue. I think out of all of them, the Spring-Summer Collection 2008 is by far my favorite catalogue.

Here are a couple cards that I've come up with that we will be doing at my Stamp a Whack of Stuff class on Friday February 15. This class will feature new stamps & lots of new accessories from the catalogue - notice the beads on the flower card - LOVE THEM!! Check out my calendar for more details.

Just a reminder about my stamp club starting in February. February's club projects include a paper lantern, a new-to-me technique featuring the brayer and we will definitely be using the new Bead Duo's on a couple of the projects!

Sale-A-Bration Samples from Palm Springs

I'm so happy to be home and that life is back into a routine! I had a fabulous time in Palm Springs - learnt lots of great business tips and stamping tricks. I apologize for not posting from Palm Springs. I decided at the last minute to leave my laptop at home. And I'm happy that I did - I didn't need anything else to carry on the way home.

I did a lot of shopping! I love to shop - especially when I'm on holidays. If you are ever in Palm Springs you definitely need to go to the Cabazon Outlet Mall. Oh my gosh!! I could have spent a solid two days there and still wouldn't have hit it all. They have all the designer shops and fabulous prices! I would go back just for the shopping:) The weather was gorgeous, although we were in classes all day so we didn't get to enjoy it much.

These are just a few of the photos that I took of the display boards that I want to share with you. There was so much to see and my head (and notebook) is filled with ideas to share with you at upcoming workshops/clubs and classes. These are projects made using some of the upcoming Sale-A-Bration sets!

Heading off to Palm Springs

Well I leave bright and early tomorrow morning for leadership training in Palm Springs. I'm excited to go but a little panicked! My swaps are not done. It is 9:30 the night before I leave, and I just finished cutting everything for them! I am not packed my suitcase is sitting unopened in the middle of our bedroom waiting for something to go inside. I wish I could just snap my fingers and my clothes would just find their way neatly inside. However, looking on the brighter side, at least I'll have something to do on the plane!

I decided to create two different swaps, I get tired of doing too many of one card. The first one is the one I have yet to finish. The Happy Heart Day card, I was lucky enough to have someone help me out with that one. I don't know what I was thinking when I decided that would be a swap. It's a great card but way too involved for a swap. But of course, I didn't realize this until we had been working on it for 4 hours straight and we still weren't finished! So thank you, thank you, thank you Karen for all your help. It is much appreciated!

These are also two of the three projects that I will be doing with my stamp clubs this month. Valentine's Kids Camp

Looking for something fun to do with the child(ren) in your life? Join my daughter and I at our Valentine's Camp and get a head start on your Valentine's cards.

• Fee: $30 per adult/child pair and $15 for each additional child
• Stamp club members receive $5 off class fee
• Team members pay only $20
• Payment & Registration due by January 9th.

Class fee includes all supplies to make 30 3x3 cards with your choice of either envelopes or cello bags for candy (candy not provided). Please specify when registering.

Choose to purchase the Valentine Bundle and receive $10 off your class fee and I will have the stamp set mounted and ready for you to use when you arrive!

Can't attend the class?

To Go kits are available for $25 (+ shipping) and they will come cut and stamped - ready for you and/or your child to color and assemble! What fun!

A New Year = a New SU! Catalogue!!!

I am so excited to announce that the new Spring & Summer Collection is now available to view online. Isn't it beautiful! I love everything about it! Especially the lower prices - Woot! To top it off SU! announced that the prices are now even lower than what is printed in the catalogue. Here is a link to the price conversion chart. I will also have it on the side bar of my website if you ever need it as a reference.

I will be holding my semi-annual open house/retired stamp sale this Saturday, January 5th from 1 to 3 pm.
