Fresh Cuts Samples & New Product Release

Well by now, most of you will have heard and seen the new Fresh Cuts stamp set and notes. If not click here to check it out. I absolutely love the background image from this set. These are just a few of the cards that I've created using the set. The card in the photo above (on the left) is also using the laser cut notes. You can get a package (15/pkg) of these for only $5.95 when you purchase the stamp set ($25.95) - but only until June 30th! You can also just get the notes for $10.75.

The card on the right is the card I sent Marika Lemay as a thank you for sharing her fabulous ideas and projects with us. If you haven't checked out her blog be sure to do so.
This card is 5-1/4" x 5-1/4". I love making square cards and this set really lends itself to square cards. By the way the laser cut cards are 4x4 and come with envelopes.

The last project is one we did at my June stamp club. I got a new set - Frames with a Flourish and used it on all 3 projects we did. I love these frames. This one is folded over the card front. It's hard to tell from the photo but there is glitter added to the tips of some of the flowers and also some paper piercing.

Have you heard about the new product line that SU! is carrying? Decor Elements is an addition to our Definitely Decorative product line. The designs coordinate with many of our stamp sets so that you can combine them to create beautiful home decor pieces.
I have got so many ideas running through my head right now. My daughter and I are redoing her room in July and I can see using the letters to personalize her room and of course I will do the same with Eathan's room. And my studio - Wow! I may just have to do a complete makeover - who knows how it will look for my open house in August!
Send me an email if you would like to check out the Decor Elements brochure and I will email it to you. I will have actual brochures very soon. The product will be available to customers beginning July 1st. Want to be the first to get your hands on these - contact me today to book an in home workshop and you could earn them for FREE.
Hopefully you all have some time to play today!

Another Dry Embossed Card

This was one of my stamp club projects for this month. It's hard to see in the first photo but the portion below the dsp is embossed with the Priceless classy brass template. We also used a rub on on the felt flower.
This was the quickest of the 3 projects that we did at stamp club but, in my opinion, the most elegant. Cards don't have to take a long time to achieve the look that you want. Sometimes I forget that:)
Well my daughter & I are off to go shopping for some new bedding. I will try to post the rest of my club projects either later tonight or tomorrow. And remember to check back tomorrow for the retiring stamp set list!
Until next time,
Sherry

Having fun with my light table.

Marika Lemay, has inspired me to pull out my light table after sharing her fabulous samples using dry embossing. If you haven't checked out her blog, be sure to do so - she's got some fabulous ideas.
I love the look of dry embossing, it is so simple and really adds a nice touch of dimension to a handmade card. This particular card was done using the Pick a Petal stamp set and the coordinating classy brass template. If you look at the close-up photo you can see the touch of embossing around each petal. It gives the petals the appearance of being cut out but they were actually just stamped right on the whisper white cardstock. So simple!

I've got another card with dry embossing that I will share with you tomorrow that my club members will be doing this weekend at my stamp clubs.

Until then, happy stamping!

Sherry
