Yesterday afternoon I got together with a group of six 8 year old girls for a crafting birthday party. We had a lot of great fun. I love girls that age - they are so cute. One of them asked me if I do this all the time and I said yup this is my job, I teach adults and children to make pretty things like these. She looks up at me and says "you've got the best job ever!". So true!
I thought I'd share the projects that we made. The first one is a book mark made out of a giant paper clip. Gotta love that owl punch!
The second one was a decorated lollipop. I got this idea from Linsay Mahon but simplified it a bit so that it was suitable for 8 year olds to make. Note to clubbers - we are making a stepped up version of this at stamp club this month.
And the last project was a post-it note cover because what young girl doesn't like notebooks! They had a blast and loved all the projects.
Did you know that I'm available to do crafting parties for any age (from 6 up)? If you would like more information or like to schedule a crafting party, please email me. The projects are customized to the age group.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Sherry
