Happy Wednesday morning! I hope you are having a great week. I don't seem to be accomplishing much this week. Do you ever get those weeks where it just feels like your wheels are spinning? It's been one of those for me so far. Hopefully the rest of the week is more productive. I've got so much to do...
Today I thought I'd share a project that my upline, Winona Semler, gave to me. Isn't it cute? I love the tower of tea cups. I've seen so many great samples using this set, I love it.
Another quick post today, the kids have another short week.
Have a wonderful day!

Good morning! I have another Stampin' Up! video to share with you - this one showcases the Paper Doily die. This die is beautiful.
Check out what we did with it at stamp club this month...

We used it as a stencil! Isn't it gorgeous? I love how this card turned out.
Don't forget that it's still Sale-A-Bration! For every $60 you spend (before shipping & gst), you can pick a free product - like this Fresh Vintage stamp set - from the Sale-A-Bration mini.

The Alamo Layout
Good morning! I hope that you had a great weekend. We had a great one. Jordyn's soccer team won gold for the indoor soccer season! Woohoo. Now for a tournament and provincials. I also had a workshop yesterday and had the chance to meet some new friends - so much fun!
Anyway, I have a layout to share with you that we did for scrapbook club in February. This uses the wonderful specialty paper - Mocha Morning! This was the first time I cracked open this package and it is GORGEOUS paper.
I still have some journalling to do and have to decide on an accent for the espresso circle but apart from that it's done.
Quick post today. I'm off to prep for my Card Organizer class tonight. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!

Attic Boutique Side Notes Class
Back at the beginning of February I had a private Attic Boutique Side Note class and these are the three projects we made. They used lots of products from both the Occasions Mini and Sale-a-Bration mini. They are over the top cards and very vintagey and such a fun class. Everyone loved the projects.
Here are some close ups of the cards.
This one was inspired by the oh so talented Kimberly Van Diepen.
I love all the dimension on this one!
You can use the Paypal link below or contact me to order your kit.

Designer Rosette Die
Have you seen the Rosette die in the Occasions mini? It really doesn't look like much but check out this video with Emily Montoya. These rosettes are so fun to make!
I had fun creating a project with the die a few weeks ago. I made an adorable layout for my cousins little girl.
This layout must measure about 1" in thickness, but it is soooo gorgeous.

My Digital Studio Birthday Card
Good morning! I hope you all had a great long weekend! Ours was nice - didn't really have a whole lot of plans so it was really relaxing. Did lots of laundry, some cleaning, spent a bit of time playing street hockey with the kids, watched some movies, it was good.
The project I have to share with you today is my birthday card that Stampin' Up! sent me. It was created in My Digital Studio - isn't it gorgeous? I love it! You could make cards similar to this too - with our free My Digital Studio trial.
I hope you have a great week!

Framelits Dies and How they Work
Have you checked out the framelits dies on page 6 of the Occasions mini catalogue? I LOVE these and they are so easy to use. However, the photo in the mini catalogue is not the best and if you haven't seen them in use, you likely wouldn't even pause to look at the product. Donna Griffith does a wonderful job in this video showcasing this great product - check it out.
The Framelits dies are available in two shapes (so far) - the Hearts Collection (125599) and the Labels Collection (125598). And if you add both of them to your order - it qualifies you for a FREE sale-a-bration product! Who doesn't love free?!

Project Life - Week 3
Quick post today - I'm just getting ready to head out to meet some friends for lunch and then have to come home and pack for stamp club tonight.
I'm a bit behind in my project life posts - so I thought I would share week 3 today. This week was an easy one because there were lots of photos from my San Antonio trip to choose from.
I included my name tag, a couple tickets and a little embellishment that was on one of the pillow presents from my upline.
While we were in San Antonio, they were filming the last episode of Extreme Makeover and we were lucky enough to catch some of it and to get a couple of really good photos of two of the designers - Michael Maloney and Paige Hemmis. It was interesting to see what goes into filming the show. The episode they were filming won't air until next December so it'll be a while before we'll be able to see if we made it on TV.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Valentine's Owl
Good morning! Happy Valentine's Day - I hope you have great plans to spend with your loved ones today!
I have this adorable project to share with you today. I was over at my parents' place a couple weekends ago and Mom was packed up ready to do a workshop and this was one of the projects that she had planned. It is soooo adorable! It's made from the pillow box die.

Hearts, Hearts and more Hearts
Good morning! I hope you had a great weekend! Ours ended up being a slower one, which was nice, we got a lot of cleaning done and I managed to get a few more drawers/baskets cleaned out. I'm happy that I decided to start this early, I feel very accomplished with the little steps - just cleaning out those couple drawers and baskets felt great!
Anyway on to todays project, I thought with only a day until Valentine's Day that I would share some of the projects that showcased hearts from our leadership convention in San Antonio. This first one is an adorable scrapbook layout featuring our hearts framelits. Adorable!
This one is a little blurry but I love how they incorporated the little strips of cardstock in behind the heart. What a great way to use up some scraps!
And how about this creative hot air balloon using the hearts framelits - I so want to try this!
And the last project is this little cupid box with matching cards. And check out the pencil decorated like an arrow!
I hope these projects have inspired you to create something for a loved one today! Thanks for stopping by.

Winner of the blog candy - drawn from random.org was the 1st comment from Lissame:
I would have to agree with you birthday dinner is the best, especially when you don't have to clean up after the meal. That has been the tradition for most of the birthdays of mine but I started a new one a few years ago of a crafting buffet, I thought that if I wanted my own party what better one to have than one that I would enjoy...
Lisa - I will include it with the order that I have here for you.
Thanks to everyone for your comments and birthday wishes!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Love U2 Layout
I really have a hard time getting a good shot of my scrapbook layouts! Does anyone have any tips?
This is one of the layouts I created for the January scrapbook club. It uses a lot of new product - both from the Sale-a-Bration and Occasions minis!
Here's a list of what I used:
I love how the larges heart in the Framelits Hearts Collection is scalloped. It's so pretty!
On this page I also used a brad from the Everyday Enchantment ribbon & brad pack (free with a $60 purchase).
Thanks for stopping by today! Remember today is the last day to enter to win the Birthday Blog Candy, I will be drawing the winner tomorrow (Saturday Feb. 11th).

Mixed Bunch Make & Take
Good Wednesday morning! I hope you are having a great week! I've got another quick post for you today - another one of our make & takes from leadership. The flower consists of one of the printed flowers from the Blossom Builders kit (125410), the detailed flower from the Mixed Bunch stamp set (WM 125535/CM 125537) was stamped in rich razzleberry and then punched out using the blossom punch (125603), another blossom builder flower was added and then take a look at the centre of the flower!
The blossom builder kit comes with pink rhinestones in two different sizes, we used the big one in the centre and then the little ones all around it. Gorgeous!!

Birthday Blog Candy
Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday, happy birthday... So can you guess what today is? I think it's a bit obvious after my entry into this post:) I thought I would celebrate by offering a gift to you - some blog candy! It's been soooo long since I've given away any blog candy. Here's what's included:
So my favorite part of my birthday is dinner because I get to pick whatever I want to have made for me OR where ever I'd like to go. I just love that I can pick anything and then don't have to make it OR clean up! I don't usually pick anything too elaborate - this year it's chicken cordon bleu (love this) and salad. I know it's an odd request but it's one of my favorite meals!
I can't wait to hear what your favorite tradition is! Thanks for stopping by!
Sherry
- Love & Care clear mount stamp set
- 6x6 designer paper patterns - in colour
- Handmade by stamp
- The Wonderful You card shown above
- Champagn Glass Stampin' Glitter
- and a few misc. die cuts from the Blossom Builders printed kit

Project Life Week 2 - Stampin' Up! Style
Good Sunday Morning! I've got a quick post for you today. I thought I'd share with you my Project Life week 2 layout. After being away for a week, I'm a bit behind but I'm determined to catch up this week, so it doesn't put me too far back.
I didn't do anything digitally this week - just ran out of time so just went with traditional products.
I've decided that I'm not going to stress about not having enough photos or journalling to include on the pages. As you can see here, I used one of the photo spots as a journalling block and then just inserted a piece of patterned paper into one of the journalling spots and a piece of embossed cardstock into another. I am more likely to keep up with this on a weekly basis if I just work with what I have and do it my way.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow for some Birthday Blog candy!

Blossom Builders Printed Kit Layout
Good morning! I have a layout to share with you today that uses the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit from the Occasions Mini. If you are anything like me - you haven't got a clue what I'm talking about. I overlooked this product in the mini catalogue but then we got a package at Leadership to create our make & takes and I LOVE it. I can't believe I never even really considered it.
These make projects so easy! Check out this layout, which was one of the make & takes. It too me less than 15 minutes to create!
Check out the dimension on this page!
I love all the texture and depth - between the skewers, the buttons, the flowers, the bakers twine and the clip - it's incredible.
I will have a few more projects to share showcasing the Blossom Builders kit over the course of the week so be sure to stop by!

I love all the texture and depth - between the skewers, the buttons, the flowers, the bakers twine and the clip - it's incredible.
I will have a few more projects to share showcasing the Blossom Builders kit over the course of the week so be sure to stop by!
