My Crafting Space - Part 1

I'm going to switch things up today and share with you my temporary crafting space.  In our new house, our basement isn't developed so there is no dedicated space for me to have my studio.  Initially this was a big concern because I run an active business and need somewhere to store my supplies, plan and hold classes.  Well, one thing we do have in this house that we didn't in our other is two coat closets - one at the front door and one at the garage door.  So I've hijacked the front door closet - take a look...
When the doors are closed - you'd never know what is behind them:)  These bins from a local craft store work perfectly in the closet.  Now this doesn't include my stamps or big shot dies - I'll save that for another day.  And I still have boxes and boxes of stuff in the garage that will stay there until the basement is developed.  But these are the supplies I use most often.  And I've used pretty much every inch of space.
When I'm sitting down to plan a project or class, I set up a folding table right in front of the closet and work right there.

It doesn't look the best but it doesn't stay like that, when I'm done for the day, I clean off the table, fold it back up and stand it inside the closet. It's been working great AND it forces me to keep my desk relatively clean:)

So for those of you who are struggling with a work space - try to find a corner of a closet and make it work. As long as your supplies are organized, a small space can be very effective. I'll be back next week with where I've been storing my stamps and big shot supplies.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Sherry
