Grade 3 Memories Lunch Tin

My daughter started grade 3 this year and every year since kindergarden, I have had intentions of doing something similar to this tin. When the new catalogue was released and I saw the Primary Colors Simply Scrappin' Kit I knew this was going to be the year! It was the perfect motivation! It wasn't until last night that I actually sat down and did it though.

Instead of doing scrapbook pages, I will just scrap some inserts based on some of the different events throughout the year. Take photos of some of her projects and have her record some of her favorite memories in her own words and handwriting. I think this will be a great project for us to work on together!

These were really fun to make and didn't take long at all. I will be doing a class on November 1st, where you choose your design based on the simply scrappin' kit you preorder. Looking forward to seeing how they all turn out! Check out my events page for more information.

Until next time,

Supplies: Primary Colors simply scrappin' kit; Rough Edges Mini and Big Deal Alphabet sets; Brocade Blue, Real Red, More Mustard, Wild Wasabi and Basic Black classic ink; Whisper White cardstock; Chipboard number 3; Earth Elements brads; assortment of ribbon.
