Adding Color to a Black & White Photo

Did you know that you can add color to your black & white photos using your Stampin' Write markers? This is a great way to accent an element in your photo to which you want to draw attention.
  1. Print photo in black & white and set aside to dry thoroughly.

  2. Spray photo with an acid-free/archival-safe spray. I used Workable Fixatif by Krylon which I found at Michaels.

  3. Once that dry, I waited about an hour, simply color in image using the Stampin' Write marker of your choice.

It's as easy as that and it looks fabulous!

Here is a scrapbook page that I created using that photo. I think I've used the Jersey Shore dsp on every scrapbook page I've done of my son in the last month or so. I'm lovin' these colors and patterns for boy projects!

These are just a few of the many, many ways that you can use your Stampin' Write markers to create fabulous projects. Now that I've enticed you - stay tuned tomorrow for how you can get a complete set of markers and so much more!

Until tomorrow,

Supplies: Brilliant Blue, Pumpking Pie, Bashful Blue and Whisper White cs; Bugs & Kisses stamp set (for cute); large star and small oval punches; Pewter Hodgepodge hardware; Jersey Shore dsp; chipboard is from an all boy box set by Fancy Pants.
