July Stamp Club Projects

I just looked at the date on my last blog post - my gosh where does the time go?! To make up for it I've got a few projects for you tonight. They are the projects that we did at stamp club earlier this evening. This first card is using a technique called Black Magic. It is simple to do and the effect is beautiful! Simply stamp a bold image stamp using Whisper White craft ink onto Basic Black cardstock. Once the image is completely dry, color over the image using our Metallic Pencil crayons (page 183). Our Pure Color pencils (page 183) work as well, but I love the subtle shimmer of the Metallic Pencils. Then trace around the image using our uni-ball Signo Gel pen (page 183). And voila you end up with a stunning patterned paper!
This purse was a pattern that I had printed off ages ago by Janine Tinklenberg. It fits either our Pocket or Scallop Notes (page 167) perfectly. It's hard to tell in the photo but the flowers have Crystal Effects (page 187) added to them and the butterfly was stamped on Vellum cardstock (page 166) with craft ink and then embossed with iridescent ice powder (page 187) - my absolute favorite embossing powder!

The last project is one of our scallop notes (page 167) - which by the way, will likely be on the retired list that will be released on Monday. Make sure you check back on Monday - I will post the list here but also send it out to anyone who receives my newsletters. Make sure you act fast because the accessories are only available while supplies last!
I am hoping to get a few minutes on the computer either tomorrow or Sunday to post some photos of my daughter applying the Decor Elements in her room. Yup she applied it - that's how easy it is!
Until next time,
Supplies: All products from SU!
