Working on some Christmas gifts

Good Monday morning! I have a wonderful project to share with you today and a first for me. This is a gift I've been working on for my brother and his family for Christmas. It is actually done on a canvas - something I've been wanting to try for about a year now.

The photo was taken by Allison Smith with Allison Smith Photography this summer when they were here to visit. They live in Halifax and we only get to see them once a year - if we're lucky. So I arranged to get Allison to take some family photos of all of us (including our parents) while they were here. I have plans to do a few of projects with our family photos and also a couple pieces for my parents for Christmas. I will post those when I get them done.

Until next time,

Supplies: canvas (unknown); Making Memories paint in buttercup; ribbon (unknown); Prima flower embellishment; buttons (unknown); Holiday Treasures designer series paper (SU!); Chocolate Chip and Whisper White cardstock (SU!); family letters from On Board Lots of Letters (SU!); large heart is from a retired SU! chipboard pack; linen thread (SU!); Craft Chocolate Chip and Ruby Red ink; cutter kit; small oval punch (SU!).
