Happy Mother's Day!

How are you celebrating Mother's Day? We did our celebration on Friday evening by having both my parents and my husbands Mom over for dinner because my husband has to work this weekend.

This morning I woke up to my two kids running into the room shouting Happy Mother's Day and lavishing me with their handmade gifts. Then I was asked what I wanted for breakfast and where the breakfast tray was. I requested yogurt and a All Bran Bar, figuring this would be easy enough for them - remember my husband is at work. They are pretending they are the food train on the way back to the bedroom and down goes the tray with the yogurt on it. Onto the carpet it goes. So that is how I started my Mother's Day - cleaning the spilled yogurt off the carpet:)

I came across an article that talks about the History of Mother's Day. I found it very interesting. It even goes into how other countries celebrate. You should check it out.

Hope you all have a fabulous Mother's Day!
