Mr. Fix-It Scrapbook Page

I have a scrapbook page to share with you today. It's been a while since I've shared one but am hoping to have some more scrap time after this week is over. I love how this page turned out. The photos are of my son fixing the chair before the "ladies" come. Ever since he started talking he's always called my customers the "ladies". Boy was he surprised when we had a man joined us for the very first time a few years ago! I seem to remember his comment as he sat on the stairs watching the "ladies" come in - "He's not a lady". Of course it was loud enough for everyone to hear. Out of the mouth of babes:)

Anyway, back to the layout. I went through the garage looking for something to use as a title and came across a pack of sand paper so that's what I used for the 'Fix It' portion of the title. This was cut out using the Serif Essentials alphabet and the Big Shot. I cut the same letters from chocolate cardstock and created a little shadow effect because I wasn't happy with the look of the sand paper on the tangerine cardstock. I love how the shadow effect turned out!

I hope to be back next week with a few more scrapbook pages. In the meantime I need to finish off some teacher gifts, plan my last MFRC class and finish up some wedding invites.
Until next time,
