The Good Stuff MDS Layout

Good Monday morning! I actually had a chance to work in My Digital Studio this weekend. I really love the program and always forget just how much when I leave it for too long. I'm noticing that my digital scrapbooking style is very different from my traditional scrapbooking style. I find my traditional layouts quite clean and simple (well to an extent). My digital scrapping style is layer upon layer. That being said, my digital layouts come together soooo much faster than my traditional layouts.

I love how this page turned out. The photos were taken at Christmas time but I didn't want a Christmas theme. My daughter loves this tradition - singing Christmas carols while Grandma Gloria plays the piano. This is the only time she will sing for anyone, and she has such a wonderful voice. She would sing for hours.

I used some of my new downloads for this layout - the first edition paper and coordinating brush set. The brush set (not available in traditional supplies) consists of the butterfly, a floral image and a couple other images. All images that are shown in the dsp itself. I LOVE the butterfly!

I'll be sharing a few more of the layouts that I created over the next couple weeks. If you are interested in finding out a little more about My Digital Studio, own it and haven't used it, I will be offering another MDS class on March 26 from 10am to noon. If you have it loaded on a laptop, bring your laptop and you can work along with me. We will be creating a layout, a card and a hybrid project from start to finish. Beginner and experienced MDS users welcome. Class fee is $20.

Register for the March 26th MDS class now - space is limited.

Thanks for stopping by today!
