Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday, happy birthday… So can you guess what today is? I think it’s a bit obvious after my entry into this post:) I thought I would celebrate by offering a gift to you – some blog candy! It’s been soooo long since I’ve given away any blog candy. Here’s what’s included:
- Love & Care clear mount stamp set
- 6×6 designer paper patterns – in colour
- Handmade by stamp
- The Wonderful You card shown above
- Champagn Glass Stampin’ Glitter
- and a few misc. die cuts from the Blossom Builders printed kit
I was thinking about how to enter and I thought since we are talking about birthdays – how about your favorite thing to do on your birthday. So in order to enter, just post a comment on this post with your favorite birthday tradition or if you don’t necessarily have a ‘tradition’ just your favorite thing to include on your birthday. I will leave this open until Friday Feb. 10th.
So my favorite part of my birthday is dinner because I get to pick whatever I want to have made for me OR where ever I’d like to go. I just love that I can pick anything and then don’t have to make it OR clean up! I don’t usually pick anything too elaborate – this year it’s chicken cordon bleu (love this) and salad. I know it’s an odd request but it’s one of my favorite meals!
I can’t wait to hear what your favorite tradition is! Thanks for stopping by!

I would have to agree with you birthday dinner is the best, especially when you don't have to clean up after the meal. That has been the tradition for most of the birthdays of mine but I started a new one a few years ago of a crafting buffet, I thought that if I wanted my own party what better one to have than one that I would enjoy…

Happy Birthday, Sherry!!!
My favourite birthday tradition is going out for supper with my boys and their respective girls. We get a chance to get together and I enjoy the company of everyone. I always enjoy this time.

My birthday is coming up on March 5 and I LOVE getting flowers. I also get to pick my favourite restaurant, but usually go to the same places. 🙂

I agree also, birthday dinners are the best cause we get to pick. The next thing I like to do is have the day for me. I usually get to do what I want and get pampered so that is always the best.
Happy Birthday Sherry!!

I also agree that birthday dinners are the best. We get to pick what we eat. I also enjoy that I get the day to do what I want too and that is always fun too.
Happy Birthday Sherry!!

I definitely agree – picking where to go for dinner is my FAVORITE part of my birthday! It's my 30th on the 12th so we aren't far off!!! I've got big dinner plans on Saturday night (as long as this baby stays PUT!)
Happy Birthday Sherry!

We always have "dinner and a movie" nights with my immediate family for our birthdays, and we always get to watch our favorite movie. Hope you had a wonderful birthday Sherry!

Happy Birthday Sherry! Enjoy your supper – sounds yummy!
Last year we spent my whole birthday in Edmonton – went for lunch, to a movie and then Japanese Village (my first time there). It was neat to see how the kids reacted to a new restaurant way of cooking. That was more elaborate – usually my kids make me breakfast in bed and help my Mom make a cake! Family time on my birthday is the best!

My Favourite thing to do is get a BIG piece of carrot cake from the Cheesecake Cafe and eat it… all day. Just cake.
Hope you had a wonderful day Sherry!

Happy Birthday!
We always have our choice of dinner too-out or in at home and what we eat. I always hope to do something outdoors as mine is at the beginning of April and we all have that Spring fever!

In our house, whoever is the birthday person gets to pick where they would like to go for dinner with no grumbling from anyone else! For my kids, we started a birthday donut tradition. If they were having a birthday party with cake and all the trimmings, we would have birthday donuts on the actual day of their birthday instead of a second cake! Worked out great!!
