Divided Page Protector Layout

Hope your day is going well!  I've got a later post for you today:)  Today's layout uses the one of the divided page protectors that Stampin' Up! used to sell.  This particular one is the one with the nine 4"x4" pockets.  However, if you look closely, you can see that I modified that a bit.  I had two photos that I didn't want to cut down so I left them in tact and then just added them to a mat the size of two of the squares (4"x8-1/4").  The mat, photo and accents are actually mounted to the outside of the page.
If you look closely at the top, you can see the squares from the other side of the page but I was so happy to have figured out a solution to accommodate the larger photos!  The other thing I wanted to point out was how I used the negative space from the die cut leaves, as a stencil on this panel...
It adds a little something but is just a bit more subtle than adding the leaf die cuts.

These are some older photos that I happened to find in one of my bins - I thought it would be fun to do a layout about the 80's so many things about these photos scream 80's!

Tomorrow, I will share with you the other side of this protector.

Until then,
