Happy Day Card

Good morning!  I was looking through some of my swaps the other day looking for some inspiration and came across a card from Felice Gladue that I loved.  I decided to use that card as one of my team incentives.  I changed it up just a tiny bit - by staggering my flowers along the top and then adding an extra layer.  If you check out page 112 of the catalogue - you can see where the inspiration for this card came from.  I love how Felice switched the card from portrait to landscape but pretty much kept the design.  So beautiful!

Another thing I love about this card is the colour combination - I never would have put these colours together - crushed curry, primrose petals, vanilla and smoky slate - but they work!  Whenever you are lacking inspiration just flip through the catalogue, there are hundreds of ideas in there that you can  tweak to make your own!

Thanks for stopping by!
