Painted Petals Card

Good morning!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  Jordyn and I spent the weekend in Calgary at a volleyball tournament.  Yesterday was a catch up day and today I have a couple classes and need to do some prep work for scrapbook club on Thursday.  Busy week....

I think one of the questions I get asked most often is where I get my ideas from.  I must admit that most of my inspiration comes from online (blogs I visit and Pinterest).  I am also often inspired by cards that I'm given.  This beautiful card is one I received from my upline and I loved it so am using it for a couple different things.  First of all it's one of the card options available at todays card buffet.  Secondly, it was the inspiration for my Sale-a-Bration Celebration invitation.
I made a few minor changes to make it quick to put together because I needed so many of them.  The invitation greeting was Marchs Paper Pumpkin kit.  You must have known I would incorporate MPP in it;)  Here's a peek at the inside...
Another great things about this card is that it inspired me to use Naturals Ivory cardstock. I had a full pkg sitting on my shelf for over a year that hadn't been touched.  Sometimes you just need that little bit of inspiration to get you using a product you forgot about.

Have a creative day!
