Build a Birthday One Layer Card

Surprise! Surprise! I actually have a project to share with you today.  It sure seems like a long time since I've had time to do much stamping.  I'm hoping that will change after this week is done.

Todays card was one of the make & takes from my BOGO event on Tuesday night.  I LOVE this Build a Birthday stamp set - it is so cute!  You know what makes this card even better?  It's one layer!!  That made it so easy to prep for the event but that also means it would be so easy to mass produce!  Just change up the color combinations and this could be the birthday card for ANYONE (kids, women, men, granparents etc.) for the next few months!

I pulled the color combination from the new Cherry On Top dsp pack - Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder.  The first layer of the cake is actually the coordinating washi tape - cute isn't it?!  I've included a full list of supplies below.

Don't forget about the Virtual BOGO Event going on until June 6th.  You can find all the details is yesterdays blog post.  Have a creative day!
