Combining Pocket Pages with Traditional Pages

I love to combine pocket pages with traditional pages. It really is a great way to get the best of both worlds for me. I love the freedom that a 12x12 page offers but I love that I can include lots of photos in the pockets of a pocket page. Which means that I may actually catch up on my scrapbooking lol.

The last month of every round of our Memories & More club, I always include a layout done with product from the regular Stampin' Up! product line. So we only do one 2-page spread using the kit for that round and the other page is using something else. This month I chose the Pick a Pattern dsp. I adore this dsp and, because it's retiring, really wanted to get a bit more use out of. I know I can still use it after it's retired, but I know that I likely won't. There's always new things I'd rather play with:)

This is one of my favorite layouts that I've created in a while. I must admit that I'm going to have to get used to creating my own cards. It's not easy when you aren't used to it. Our next round of Memories & More club isn't actually using a card collection. We are using the Bubbles and Fizz DSP that was in the Sale-a-Bration brochure. So each month I'm going to have to get creative and come up with my own card designs. It should be ok once I get in the rhythm.

If you are interested in joining us for the round starting in May (runs from May to August), let me know and I can send you all the information. I still have 3 spots left. Anyone across Canada can participate.

Have a creative day!
