Memory Keeping Monday Friends Layout

Does anyone else love sketches? I will often start a layout, or card, with a sketch. It's easier to start with something than nothing.

Yesterday I played along with the Creative Scrapbooking Magazine's January sketch and created this two page spread.

Both pages pretty much follow the same sketch, one of them just has larger images and patterned papers than the other.

Here's a closer look at the two pages.

I love the Swirly Frames stamp set for creating backgrounds on layouts.

I didn't have any natural light when I photographed the images so they are a bit discoloured. The background is whisper white and the stamped images are real red, gray granite and pool party.

I absolutely love these photos of the girls. Their friend Josh, who's in school to become a photographer, took them.

If you've been following my blog for awhile, you likely know that I am participating in a LOAD (Layout A Day) challenge. So far I am 24/24! I've created at least one layout 24 days in a row! I can't believe how many photos I've gotten documented. It feels so good. I've got 4 more days of the challenge and I think I may just keep going. I've gotten into a routine and just don't want to stop!

Before I sign off I wanted to let you know that for this week only - February 25th to March 1st - I'm giving away a FREE TUTORIAL with your minimum $60 purchase from my online store. AND the best part is you can pick the tutorial! Here's how it will work.

  1. Place your minimum $60 order from my online store using host code 4YCDEEAU, between February 25th and March 1st, 2019.
  2. Check out the tutorials I have available on my tutorials page. All the tutorials on this page apply and have a value between $15 and $25!
  3. Email me at sherryatstampedtreasures.com with your tutorial choice.
  4. I will email you the tutorial of your choice within 48 hours of having received your email.
There are card making tutorials, scrapbooking tutorials and some of them even include the odd 3D project. A little something for everyone!

Have a creative day!
Sherry
