Scrapbook Saturday Free-For-All

Welcome to the first week of Scrapbook Saturday Free-For-All! I've decided that Saturdays will be a day where I share layouts that don't necessarily use SU! It's a day where anything goes. As I plow through my stash of memory keeping products I realize I have lots of different manufacturers and it's all so beautiful - this is my opportunity to share it with you.

Today I am sharing a layout that uses Shimelle's new product line Sparkle City. Since I've started watching Shimelle's videos I've really come to love her style. It's VERY different from mine, but I've taken some of the things that I've learned from her and incorporated them into my own memory keeping.

One of those things is using a patterned paper as a background - I probably use white card stock as a background on 90% of my layouts and I still love that clean crisp look and open space on a layout so that likely won't change much. But I've been experimenting with some patterned papers and it's growing on me. I especially love how this layout turned out.

If you love to scrapbook check out my newest class - focused on using sketches.

You'll find all the details here.

I hope you are looking forward to my Saturday Free-For-Alls! Have a creative weekend.
